Aside from being a values-oriented show, Encantadia is a remarkable Pinoy fantaserye because of how the main actors and actresses portrayed their characters in the story. Actresses Sunshine Dizon played the role of Pirena; Isa Calzado as Amihan; Diana Zubiri as Danaya; Kayle as Alena—and they all play the role of four Sang’gre sisters whose mission is to protect their gems fire, air, earth, and water; and last but not the least, Dingdong Dantes who played the role of ‘Ybrahim’ as Alena’s husband and ruler of Sapiro, and father of Lira.
The program is not only suitable for the adults but for the youngsters as well. The plot of the story is good as well for it is simple yet it maintained its magical and mystic theme throughout its entire sequel of Book I (Encantadia), Book II (Etheria), and Book III (Encantadia: Pag-ibig Hanggang Wakas). Moreover, upon watching all the episodes myself, I could say that each episode has a lesson, which could influence every viewer, making it more appropriate for kids who emulate or imitate what they see on tv.
Furthermore, I was able to watch all the episodes in the three books of Encantadia by just visiting the website MyPinoy.tv accessible at http://MyPinoy.tv. And I was so happy because I was satisfied to finish because all the episodes are complete.
I rate Encantadia with a two thumbs up for its amazing camera effects and realistic portrayal of the enchanted and magical world of diwatas/enkantadas, enkantados, and other mystical beings like dwarfs, and ancient Filipino civilization believing in diwatas, anitos, and Bathala. It was nice to vicariously experience the world of Encantadia just by mere watching.
Thanks to myPinoy.tv who made my Pinoy quality entertainment possible.
